Police in Bushbuckridge are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 35-year-old Armstrong Monareng from Violetbank. Monareng, who works as a male nurse at Dwarsloop Clinic, has been missing since Wednesday, 15 October 2025.

According to the police, he left home that morning to report for duty but never returned. His family and colleagues have not heard from him since, and efforts to trace his whereabouts have so far been unsuccessful. At the time of his disappearance, Monareng was dressed in his work uniform.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen him or has information that could help trace him to come forward. Community members can contact Warrant Officer Busisiwe Dlamini on 082 056 9507 or call the Crime Stop line on 08600 10111. Tip-offs can also be submitted anonymously via the MySAPS App.

Authorities have assured the public that all information will be treated with strict confidentiality, and callers may remain anonymous.

The search continues as concern grows among family, friends and the community.
