Police in Delmas are investigating the murder of a campus manager who was gunned down on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened at around 4pm on 3 September 2025, near a learning institution in Delmas. According to police, officers responded to a shooting report on a gravel road next to the campus.
On arrival, they found a white Kia sedan with Gauteng registration plates. Inside the vehicle was the driver, confirmed to be the campus manager, who had sustained gunshot wounds.
Preliminary investigations suggest the victim had been on a routine inspection of the premises when a black VW Polo approached. An armed suspect is believed to have emerged from the vehicle and fired shots at close range before fleeing the scene in the same Polo.
The motive for the killing is not yet known. Police have appealed to the public for assistance in tracing the suspect or suspects.
