Body of a teenage boy found near a dumping site

Oscar Letswalo, a teenager from Oakley near Sizanani 2, who had been missing since February 27, 2023, was discovered dead at the landfill on Monday 2 October.

Children who had lost their bread at a dump on Monday while being chased by dogs came across what appeared to be human bones while looking for their bread and went to reach an old person.

The body was found to be completely burned, showing only the bones.

The young boy’s bones were found within a mattress that was only burned on the side where his body was lying with his head on top of it.
